Igor Nemec, head of the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection said Wednesday tha
t Google won’t be allowed to expand Street View in the country because the technology “disproportionately invades citizens’ privacy.” One of the principal complaints is that Google’s cameras, which are placed nine feet high, can see into people’s homes. Google won’t collect any new data in the Czech Republic until an agreement can be reached.
